Sogod bay is wereldberoemd voor het spotten van walvishaaien. De walvishaaien komen elk jaar terug naar de ondiepe baai om zich te goed te doen aan het vele plankton. Het gebied leent zich uitstekend voor zowel snorkelaars als duikers. Maar je bent hier niet alleen voor de walvishaaien. De baai is tevens een thuishaven voor macro leven, je komt er de vreemdste wezens tegen rond de pier van Padre Burgos en Limasawa en de nabijgelegen riffen zitten vol leven. Pas op voor een botsing met een walvishaai!
